Executive Producer, Skipjack Productions
Chris Finegan is a three-time Emmy Award-winning television news and long format film producer/director. He founded Skipjack Productions in 1996 to provide superior film presentations to corporate clients. Skipjack creates television newsmagazine-style promotional and training programs for companies in the USA and Europe.
From 2003 - 2010, Chris worked simultaneously for Diane Sawyer at ABC's Good Morning America as a breaking news & broadcast producer. Prior to 1996, Chris spent four years with ABC News' weekly newsmagazine program 20/20. While at 20/20, he traveled extensively reporting, researching, and writing a wide variety of stories including reporting from the OJ Simpson criminal trial. From 1989 to 1992, he worked as a producer for Good Morning America and Peter Jennings Specials.
Chris arrived at GMA after a year as an assistant to Nightline's Executive Producer and anchor Ted Koppel. Chris has also produced A&E Biography programs and a variety of national television commercials. From 1986-1988, Chris was part of the Drexel Burnham Lambert executive training program. While there, he worked on several trading desks and was recruited to assist the firm's own "insider-trading" investigation. Christopher Finegan graduated from Washington, DC’s Catholic University in 1986 with a BA degree in Politics. He is also a graduate of Chaminade HS, Mineola NY.
